Frequently asked questions

Q. What hours can I pick up Police records?
A. Records may be picked up at Police headquarters Monday through Friday between 9:00 am and 3:00 PM.

Q. My pet is missing. Who can I call?
A. All animal calls within the Township are handled by TYCO Animal Control. They can be reached at 507-8330. TYCO will assist residents with pest and rodent problems within the home for a fee.

Q. Who can I call to learn about School closings due to weather ?
A. The Westwood School District has a specific phone number for the announcement of school closings due to snow, or any other emergency closing. The number is 664-0880. DO NOT CALL POLICE HEADQUARTERS.

Q. I have lost electric power.
A. Power outages, Telephone service disruptions, residential water supply problems, or any other utility questions should be directed to the specific utility. PSE&G can be reached at 664-6000. United Water at 767-9306. All “WIRE DOWN” incidents should be reported immediately to the Police.
