The Township of Washington Detective Bureau, under direction of Detective Heather Castronova, investigates all crimes against persons and property within the Township of Washington. The Detective Bureau is responsible for conducting follow up investigations stemming from crimes or incidents reported to the Township of Washington Police Department. In addition to generating their own cases the Bureau also provides support to the Patrol Divisions. Our Detective Bureau handles all Investigative aspects of combating crime, such as Computer and Internet Crimes, Homicides, Various White Collar Crimes including Identity Theft and Frauds, Robbery, Burglary, Theft etc. The Township of Washington Police Detective Bureau works hand in hand with various Federal, State, and Local agencies and the citizens of of the Township of Washington. In service training, some of which mandated by the State Attorney General, including domestic violence and other subjects are also a responsibility of this Bureau.
