The Township of Washington Police Department is currently investigating a possible attempted abduction/luring incident which took place at approximately 11:45AM on Saturday September 19.  A 13 year old male was walking from Finnerty Place to the Washington Town Center. A light gray/beige pickup hooked up to an open landscape type trailer was parked facing East towards  Woodfield Road. A driver was seated in the vehicle and another male was outside the vehicle. The male outside the vehicle approached the boy and told him to take his hand. The child said “no” and the actor took a step towards him and again told the child to take his hand. The child then ran into the shopping center. The vehicle was last seen traveling East on Finnerty Place and then turns left and heads north on Woodfield Road.
