The Township of Washington Police Department would like to wish everyone a safe Memorial Day. On this day we honor and remember those who have perished while serving our country.
We would like to also thank all active and retired military for their service!
Please feel free to come out for the 2023 Township of Washington Memorial Day Parade on Monday May 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM
The Parade is scheduled to begin at 10:00 and will stage/begin on Clinton Avenue. The parade route will be as follows: Traveling from Clinton Avenue, then west on Washington, south on Pascack and ending by Finnerty Pl. (front of town hall). The event will be completed with a ceremony by approximately 12:30. Clinton Avenue will be closed from approximately 08:30-10:30. Washington Avenue will be closed for the Fire Department service from approximately 08:30-09:30 and again for the Parade from 10:00-10:45. Pascack Road will be closed from approximately 10:00-12:30 with limited access.

Please remember that on Memorial Day there will be increased traffic on most roadways and drivers could see up to 3x longer then normal ride depending on where you are headed.
Please give yourself extra time if you are traveling and please drive responsible.
