The 2025 Junior Police Academy Applications are available May 1st!

The Washington Township Police Department, The Westwood Police Department & The Emerson Police Department are proud to announce

The 2025 Junior Police Academy

The continuing focus of Junior Police Academy is to educate students on the dangers of drugs, alcohol and making bad life decisions. We stress being a good citizen and model the example of teamwork and team spirit. Other benefits include building friendships with children from other towns and fostering positive relationships local Police Officers. Our students also get a first-hand look at the work of federal, state and local law enforcement.

When:  Monday, June 23, 2025 – Friday, June 27, 2025

Where: Westwood High School (701 Ridgewood Rd, Washington Township)

Time:  8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Age Requirement:  10-14 years old

Applications Open:  May 1, 2025

Applications Close:  May 23, 2025

Payment is due when the application is dropped off.  There are no refunds.

Applications can be picked up at your respective town police department.

Completed Applications: Return applications to your respective Police Departments (Washington Township, Westwood, Emerson)
