Dear Resident (Special Attention: Clinton Avenue Residents)
On Monday, May 26, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., the Township of Washington will be holding the annual Memorial Day Parade. The Parade route will again start at the intersection of Washington Avenue. and Clinton Avenue. Clinton Avenue will be used as a staging area for Parade participants. Clinton Ave. will be closed to all traffic and No Parking will be allowed from Washington Ave. to Ell Rd. from approximately 08:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. As a result, ingress and egress of vehicular traffic from your residences will be limited to emergency requirements only during this time. If you feel that you will require a vehicle during this time, we suggest you park your vehicle on one of the connecting streets (McKinley, Jefferson, Mariann, Leigh Terrace). I assure you that the Police Department will make every effort to limit any inconveniences to the residents of Clinton Ave. As in years past, the parade route will be Washington Avenue starting at Clinton, West to Pascack Road, South on Pascack Road from Washington Avenue and ending in front of Town Hall.
