The Washington Township Police Department want to advise all residents that no matter what time of day their car should remain locked and valuables should not be in Plain-view. Due to one of our residents locking their vehicle, a thief left the area without being able to enter or steal their car. We urge our residents to report any and all suspicious activity immediately, and keep locking your cars and removing your valuables and keys/key fobs.
