The Township of Washington Police and Office of Emergency Management would like to notify the community of an Open Public Meeting to discuss the 2026 Bergen County multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan, on Wednesday January 24, 2024 from 6pm-7pm located at One Bergen County Plaza in Hackensack NJ.  The meeting will be held on the 4th floor learning center.

The purpose of this plan is for the Bergen County Office of Emergency Management to meet with members of the community, followed by individual meeting with each municipality to develop and maintain a comprehensive needs-assessment and strategy to be used when facing natural disasters and help establish plans to mitigate and withstand such disasters.
