On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, D/Sgt. Travis Cangialosi made a presentation to the Washington Township Golden Seniors Club informing them about current scams that may affect them. Approximately 75 senior citizens were in attendance and were made aware of the dangerous implications these scams could result in. D/Sgt. Cangialosi informed the club about the scams, how to avoid the scams, why they are commonly victims to the scams and what to do if they provide any personal information or finances to the criminals. Following the presentation D/Sgt. Cangialosi fielded many questions regarding this topic and others relating to law enforcement.
