On Tuesday, June 9, Chief Pecora, Captain Glock, Lieutenant Scherer, Sergeant Cangialosi, Corporal Sinatra and Police Officer Hiletzaris provided one lucky Washington School student a ride to school in a police car! The student won the special experience through a school tricky tray fundraiser. Before heading to school, the student and his parents took photographs with the officers alongside a police car. During the police escort the student had the opportunity to activate the sirens and wave to pedestrians and classmates along the route. Upon arriving at Washington School, the student was greeted outside by his classmates and staff, making for a memorable start to the school day.
