As the 4th of July weekend approaches, it is important to stay safe and have fun. Please never leave a lit BBQ unattended. If you plan to drink have a designated sober driver. Hand held sparklers, ground based sparkling devices and novelties (snappers, party poppers..etc) are legal in New Jersey. Fireworks such as, firecrackers, aerial fireworks, sky rockets/bottle rockets, single tube devices, reloadable shell devices/ roman candles are not legal in New Jersey.
