It is with deepest regret that The Township of Washington Police Department announces the passing of (Ret.) Captain Joseph Sacchi. Captain Sacchi was an officer with our department from 1961 until 1996. Prior to Joe becoming a Police Officer, he spent time serving our country in the US Navy. Our Officers had the pleasure of knowing and keeping in contact with Captain Sacchi, well into his retirement. Captain Sacchi had immense pride in our community and those that knew him, knew the bright light he brought with him into every situation.
We will truly miss you Joe! May you Rest In Peace
Wake services will be at Becker Funeral Home Friday 10/8 from 4pm-8pm
Funeral services will be at The Garden of Memories on Saturday 10/9 at 1230pm
