Nixle
The Washington Township Police Department is now utilizing Nixle® community notification service.  The web-based service is a geographic-based public notification system available free of charge to residents of Washington Township.  All Swiftreach users were transferred with all of their contact information over, meaning any current users will not miss any emergency notifications.  Current users can check update their profile through Nixle.com to add more telephone numbers or email addresses to their account if they feel it is necessary.  If you were not previously signed up, you can sign up through the portal on our department’s website homepage or simply text “07676” to “888777” – Message and data rates may apply.  Nixle® emails and text messages serve as extra source of information regarding incidents that might impact your neighborhood.
