Please be advised that starting this school year (September 7, 2023) the George School Crossing Guard will be moved to the Crosswalk next to the Parking Lot Entrance on Palm Street.
(Please see the map below – Crosswalk to be used is in yellow).
Cones will be set up at the Walnut St/Palm crosswalk with signage requesting pedestrians to walk to the crosswalk and cross with the crossing guard.
This will assist with pedestrian traffic during drop off and that no one will be crossing in front of cars in the parking lot. It is always safer to be crossed by a Crossing Guard!
