Chief Skinner along with the Washington Township Police Department welcome our newest hire, Chief Talha Rehman!! Chief Rehman was sworn into his new position, enjoyed a breakfast meeting with his officers followed by a tour of our headquarters and our police equipment, all before meeting with the other Chief’s for a Day from the county in Hackensack. The Chief’s were then escorted to Englewood where they enjoyed an afternoon of fun and games with their officers and other Chief’s. We hope that Chief Rehman enjoyed his day as much as our officers did!!

The countywide “Chief for a Day” celebration affords children battling chronic illnesses an opportunity to get an up close look at police work. It is sponsored by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office and the Bergen County Police Chiefs Association.
